We are looking for an experienced geoscience leader and creative play generator with technical team lead experience, who is comfortable thinking outside the box in play generation and who has demonstrated experience of motivating a team to ‘think different’.

We are looking for a group of diverse but complementary geoscientists and play generators that are comfortable thinking outside the box and are not afraid to challenge existing dogmas when identifying and maturing play ideas and creatively identifying potential petroleum systems.

For this project, we are seeking a geoscientist who is familiar with regional play and sweet spot analysis. The ideal candidate will use regional geologic and geochemical data to understand subsurface fluid resource estimates along the US Gulf Coast. In addition, experience with competitor and acreage analysis is required. The geoscientist will work both independently and collaboratively to take a first principles look at the area of interest and provide a fresh look at a mature area. An open mind and the use of geologic first principles not constrained by oil and gas processes is highly desired.
