Minimum Experience
For this project, we’re looking for one to two exploration geoscientists with extensive experience in stratigraphic trap interpretation. Experience in Cote D'Ivoire and Tano Basins or analog basins (Guyana, Namibia, Brazil Campos) is preferred. The ideal candidate should be experienced in prospect maturation and regional prospectivity evaluation workflows, comfortable interpreting the seismic in the region, identifying key reservoirs, seals and source rock and analyzing various criteria that describe the entire petroleum system. The project also requires incorporation of well data, pressure and fluid data. The objectives for this project will be to provide detailed and quantitative geological characterization of certain discoveries and dry holes to better understand the reasons for success or failure. A successful candidate is expected, among other deliverables, to collect various observations by analyzing and interpreting available data, provide relevant maps and geoseismic sections, and present findings.
What You’ll Bring:
10+ years of experience in seismic interpretation, prospect maturation and regional prospectivity evaluation
Expert Petrel user
Expert knowledge of one or more basins listed in the project description
Significant understanding of petroleum systems
Experienced with time-to-depth conversion
Creativity and willingness to challenge dogmas
Strong analytical skills
Comfortable working with cloud based virtual workstation and communication tools
