For this project, we’re looking for a geoscientist with at least 15 years of expertise interpreting 3D seismic in the offshore Nile Delta, complimented by experience in other Tertiary delta settings. The ideal geoscientist will be an expert in interpreting stratigraphy using seismic facies analysis to map reservoirs with variable levels of amplitude support. They will also have the creativity to define a range of new geologic models for reservoir characterization. The key objectives of this project will include:

• Creation of conceptual depositional models linked to reservoir seismic facies mapping

• Identification and ranking of potential opportunities for overlooked traps

• Integration of key findings and interpretations into reservoir models

• Report summarizing work and findings

What You’ll Bring:

• 15+ years of experience using seismic interpretation for play and prospect identification, seismic facies analysis, and geologic modeling for reservoir development

• Relevant experience in the Nile Delta offshore is required

• Experience working with near field exploration and in mature basins

• Expert in Tertiary delta systems with experience in a wide variety of settings preferred

• Experienced Petrel user
