Description
We are looking for a motivated explorationist well-versed in interpreting carbonate systems to lead a block-scale subsurface mapping project in Southeast Asia. The ideal applicant should have strong knowledge of structural mapping and should be skilled at analyzing 3D seismic data to deliver accurate interpretations. Familiarity with the geology of this area will also be advantageous.
Responsibilities
The geoscientist will work together with the client team and deliver interpretations based on 3D seismic mapping and well data analysis, supplemented by other relevant datasets and integrated with the client’s previous work. Interpretations will include a set of high-quality major surfaces and faults and will be used to create a geologic framework. The work will be done in Petrel.
Duration
16 weeks, full-time, starting in early to mid-January
What You’ll Bring:
15+ years of experience interpreting and integrating seismic and well data
Expertise in carbonate stratigraphy and structural mapping
Experience working SE Asia
Geophysics experience a plus
Comfortable working remotely with regular client check-ins.
