For this project, we’re looking for a regional geoscientist who will compile and consolidate understandings of plays and prospectivity across onshore Colombia. The geoscientist will use published literature and other public information to create an index of resources and prospectivity, including plays and recent discoveries. These insights will then be combined into a resource funnel and opportunity catalog from the perspective of the geoscientist.

What You’ll Bring: 

• > 20 years of experience working in multiple basins with diverse play concepts throughout Colombia

• Expert knowledge of Onshore Colombia, including knowledge of existing infrastructure

• Experienced with regional exploration through production, including operations and costs

• Experienced with portfolio management

• Comfortable finding and working with public information

• Fluent in Spanish and professionally proficient in English

• Experience using ArcGIS or QGIS

• Conocimiento experto de Colombia en tierra, incluyendo conocimiento de la infraestructura existente

• Experiencia en exploración regional hasta producción, incluidas operaciones y costos

• Experiencia en gestión de portafolio

• Cómodo encontrando y trabajando con información pública

• Fluidez en español y profesionalmente competente en inglés

• Experiencia con ArcGIS o QGIS
