Project Pearl is looking for a geoscientist that can efficiently evaluate a large amount of seismic data with a focus on the Gulf of Mexico Neogene section. The work will be done in Petrel with a project that contains 2D and 3D seismic, wells, and academic references. The XiR will map key framework horizons, structural features, and faults within the area of interest. Final deliverables will include a Petrel project containing the mapped events as well as a report with the key findings and a description of interpretation confidence. The project will be 4 weeks full-time, starting in May. Apply before the application closes Wednesday, April 20 at 5 pm CT/ 10 pm UTC.
What You’ll Bring:
>8 years of experience with regional seismic interpretation using 2D and 3D data
Familiarity with offshore seismic, common structural and stratigraphic features
Comfortable working with large and varied seismic datasets to efficiently map horizons for regional scoping
Experience in the Gulf of Mexico advantageous
Experience using Petrel
