Over the last few decades, the oil & gas industry has collected petabytes of geoscience data, but this data is often used for only one thing: finding more oil & gas.  We are now seeing companies use this data and technologies to develop other resources.  For this assignment, we are looking for one geoscientist to provide an overview of the companies and challenges of finding and producing REE, specifically Lithium from subsurface brines.  The resulting report will summarize which companies are working on this problem, the subsurface targets, and how this approach could progress in the future. The project will be 2 weeks, starting mid-January.

What You’ll Bring:
