Project Argillite focuses on creating a merged, amplitude‑balanced, TWT‑aligned 3D seismic dataset covering:

• Offshore East Coast Trinidad

• Columbus Basin

• Plataforma Deltana

The region currently contains multiple vintages of inconsistent seismic data, often lacking pre‑stack information and complete processing histories.

The XiR will execute a full Mega‑Merge workflow, producing a single, coherent seismic cube suitable for use in Petrel and aligned with regional evaluation needs.

Duration

8 weeks, full-time, starting Late March 2026.

Compensation

Locally competitive remuneration.

What You’ll Bring:

Experience

• 15+ years experience in seismic processing, conditioning, and volume merging.

• 10+ years working with large-scale seismic datasets in Petrel.

• Experience executing Mega‑Merge or large multi‑vintage integration projects.

• Expertise in:

  • Amplitude balancing

  • TWT alignment

  • Noise reduction and relative amplitude preservation

  • Handling legacy datasets with mixed quality

• Strong understanding of clastic basin systems (Columbus Basin context). 

Preferred Basin Experience

• Colombia Caribbean margin

• NW South America fold belt basins

• Analog basins: offshore Nigeria, North Sea or Any basin where multi‑vintage Mega‑Merge worflows have been applied
